Description: Working with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) G&O is preparing an emergency response plan and typical retrofit countermeasures for the Port of Miami Bridge in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

Significant Facts:

• This study retrofits security/anti-terrorism precautions and details plans developed for new, secure inspection access points, restricting unauthorized access while providing authorized access for inspection, repair and other required tasks.
• The study also includes multi-hazard threat modeling, countermeasure and emergency response plans and procedures, threat evaluations, and the design and development of secure access plans for the Port of Miami bridge transportation infrastructure.
