Description: In 1979 the Prince George's County District Council directed Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission to prepare a Historic Sites and Districts Plan. This plan was approved in 1981 and amended in 1992. M-NCPPC is currently revisiting the existing plan.
Significant Facts:
- As part of the coordination process for the development and approval of this amendment, G&O facilitated three separate workshops, inviting stakeholders including local businesses, the building industry, municipalities, and advocacy groups for historic preservation, environmental, and development issues.
