Locations: Jacksonville, Florida; Trujillo, Peru; Botswana, Africa

Description: G&O is providing engineering services for the development of APR Energy's world headquarters – a 15-acre campus that includes a corporate office and logistics warehouse/handling facility. G&O is also providing infrastructure and design consulting services for power generation facilities outside the United States. The project is being delivered under a Design Build contract method.

Significant Facts:
  • The APR Energy world headquarters project is located in the heart of major JaxPort maritime shipping terminals and operations, which offers superior exposure for G&O.
  • G&O performed the assessment, permitting, excavation, and relocation of Gopher Tortoises on the Jacksonville site. The tortoises are a protected and threatened species and only occupy developable sandy well-drained upland soils.
  • In addition to the 15-acre site in Jacksonville, APR Energy has commissioned G&O for long-term consultation for planning, civil, and structural design for power generation facilities located worldwide.
  • The Peru and Africa sites require detailed environmental, archeological, soil, and as-built analysis to design pursuant to APR and the local government's specifications to effectively deliver electric power 24/7.
