Description: G&O is providing the site/civil design for the Belcrest Center office building and its associated parking garage, which make up the third phase of the Belcrest Center Development. The office building is a 14-story structure consisting of retail space on the first floor, commercial office space, and additional area for associated mechanical and support spaces. The parking garage is accessed through a pedestrian breezeway and is 7 stories above grade, with 600 new parking spaces.
Significant Facts:- The site is located next to an existing metrorail station. Tenants access the parking garage through a pedestrian breezeway that creates a path around the existing metrorail station.
- The first floor of the garage is on grade and serves the existing metrorail station with a continuation of the bus and "Kiss and Ride" access roadway.
