Greenhorne & O'Mara Broadens Transportation Outreach Program

LAUREL, MD – February 23, 2010 – Engineering consulting firm Greenhorne & O'Mara (G&O) announces the hiring of Thomas R. Phillips, Jr., as the new Director, Right-of-Way (ROW) Services. Mr. Phillips will manage and coordinate G&O's Right-of-Way services company-wide.

Mr. Phillips has more than 20 years of experience, and has been responsible for establishing and managing ROW contracts in numerous states for both private and public clients. He has worked on high profile projects for Dominion Virginia Power, Prince William County, VA, and the New Jersey Schools Construction Corporation.

"Tom brings a diverse background to the complex world of right-of-way services. His work with different Departments of Transportation and public sector clients is invaluable, and his expertise will be vital as we strive to meet the needs of our clients and help the communities where we live and work," said Regional Vice President Michael A. Retton, P.E.

Mr. Phillips has a Bachelor of Science degree in business from Ferrum College, VA. He has also had extensive training in International Right of Way Association relocation assistance.
