LAUREL, MD – July 27, 2009 – Engineering consulting firm Greenhorne & O'Mara (G&O) announced that Mark Kile, EIT, LEED AP, recently earned the U.S. Green Building Certification Institute's (USGBCI) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Accredited Professional (AP) status. LEED AP is a professional designation earned when an individual successfully completes the examination process accredited by the U.S. Green Building Council. Those receiving the certification are building industry professionals who have demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building and the LEED® Green Building Rating System™.

Mr. Kile's experience includes performing duties in the civil engineering and surveying fields for the federal government and private sector clients. He is also responsible for the coordination of public utilities, designing onsite improvements, and preparing construction documents.
