LAUREL, MD – April 23, 2008 – Engineering consulting firm, Greenhorne & O'Mara (G&O), announced the expansion of its Land Development Services and the appointment of Brad C. Wester as the Director of Planning and Client Resources for the Jacksonville (FL) branch office. In his new role Mr. Wester will be responsible for business development plans, operation sales and marketing, and the expansion of the company's regional initiatives. Mr. Wester brings to this position 12 years experience in both public and private sector planning. Since working at the City of Jacksonville Planning & Development Department, he has successfully managed pre-construction operations for the design-build, consulting, and real estate development industries throughout the Southeast.

Mr. Wester graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography/Urban & Regional Planning from Florida State University. He is an associate member of the Urban Land Institute, and has served on the Board of Directors for the local chapters of the American Planning Association and Florida Planning and Zoning Association. Mr. Wester also served 8 years in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves while balancing his career in the public and private sectors.
