LAUREL, MD – July 31, 2007 – The engineering consulting firm of Greenhorne & O’Mara (G&O) announces the appointment of Jack J. Gabriel, P.E., DBIA, as Division Manager for its Southeast Transportation Structures group. Working from the Jacksonville (FL) office, Mr. Gabriel is responsible for transportation structural engineering operations in G&O’s Southeast markets.

Mr. Gabriel has more than 30 years of experience in planning, design, and infrastructure construction, both nationally and internationally. He has B.S. in Civil Engineering and M.P.A. (Public Administration) degrees, and has completed a program for a M.S. in Structures and Foundations. Mr. Gabriel is a Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Florida, North Carolina, and California. He is a designated professional Design Build Institute of America DBIA, and is a charter member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Structural Engineering Institute (SEI). He is also a member of the ASCE Transportation and Development Institute (T&DI) and of the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE).
