LAUREL, MD – May 31, 2007 – Resident floodplain mapping experts from Greenhorne & O'Mara (G&O), national engineering consulting firm, are participating in the Association of State Floodplain Managers National Conference being held in Norfolk, VA, June 3-8, 2007. The conference is the only national forum for floodplain management practitioners, emergency managers, researchers, and government officials, and the sessions focus this year is preparing for an improved and sustainable future for flood damage reduction.
There are more than 180 industry experts conducting plenary and concurrent sessions, and a 3-day comprehensive exposition throughout the week-long conference. Eight of G&O's floodplain mapping experts will be moderating, presenting or participating in conference sessions. Representing G&O are: Frank R.
