LAUREL, MD – April 24, 2007 – Engineering Consulting firm Greenhorne & O’Mara announces that Vince DiCamillo, CFM has been appointed Regional Vice President and Market Leader for the company's Water and Environment (W&E) Group. Mr. DiCamillo will head the division, which focuses on water resources issues, environmental engineering and science, and hazards mitigation and security service.
"Vince has played a critical role in the company's growth and success. During his 31-years in the industry, he has provided technical consulting and program management for both state agencies and FEMA, and is an expert in water resources issues," said G&O President, Frank R. Finch, P.E. "He has demonstrated outstanding leadership and management skills, and continues to seek out new opportunities for G&O nationwide."
Mr. DiCamillo spent 15 years with G&O then left to successfully build a water resources operation of more than 130 engineers and scientists with another firm. Since his return in 2004, he served as Vice President in G&O's Water & Environment group where he helped strengthen G&O's prominence in water resources. He has a B.S. degree in Conservation and Resource Management from the University of Maryland, is a Certified Floodplain Manager, and a member of the Association of State Floodplain Managers.
