LAUREL, MD – March 19, 2007 – The engineering consulting firm Greenhorne & O'Mara, Inc. (G&O), has named Bruce H. Laswell, P.E., as Vice President, Southeast Federal Programs. Mr. Laswell, who had formerly been G&O's Project Director Southeast Federal Marketing, will lead the expansion of the company's professional services to federal and Department of Defense (DoD) military programs and agencies in the region.

"Bruce has more than 34 years of successful experience in operations and strategic planning for the Department of Defense as well as other federal, state, and local government entities," said G&O President Frank R. Finch, P.E. "We are committed to the continued support of our federal and government agency clients, and placing a corporate officer with Bruce Laswell's level of experience in the Southeast will greatly expand our ability to deliver services. We are increasing our services in military facility master planning, facility structural, civil, and site design, environmental planning and compliance, and transportation services in this region with projects like the 7th Special Forces Group complex relocation from Fort Bragg to Eglin Air Force Base, as part of the BRAC initiative. We have a number of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers projects coming up in this region and we want to have someone of Bruce's caliber overseeing the development of these projects."

Mr. Laswell joined G&O in 2006 to support federal and Department of Defense (DoD) military programs and civil works projects. He holds an M.B.A. from Long Island University, an M.S. in Civil Engineering from Stanford University, and a B.S. in Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, and is a registered Professional Engineer.
