Greenhorne & O'Mara (G&O) Expands Its Raleigh, North Carolina Water & Environment Services

LAUREL, MD – March 18, 2007 – With the addition of Jianbiao (Jeff) Lu, national engineering consulting firm Greenhorne & O'Mara expands its Water & Environment team in Raleigh, North Carolina. Mr. Lu has joined G&O as a hydrologist and is responsible for conducting watershed modeling, floodplain analysis, and stormwater management projects.

His experience with watershed modeling for the U.S. Forest Service's Southern Global Change Program throughout the southeastern U.S. is invaluable to the floodplain projects we are working on now and in the future," stated Vince DiCamillo, Regional Vice President, Southeast Water & Environment Group.

Dr. Lu has more than 6 years experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, field assessment, planning and design, and monitoring services for stream and wetland mitigation and restoration projects. He holds a Ph.D. in Forest Hydrology and Water Resources and an M.S. in Forest Hydrology and Statistics from North Carolina State University, and a B.S. in Soil and Water Conservations from Beijing Forestry University (China). Dr. Lu is affiliated with the American Water Resources Association, the International Erosion Control Association, and the Society of Wetland Scientists.
