Greenhorne & O'Mara (G&O) Announces Development in Leadership Transition – Frank Finch, P.E., Named President

LAUREL, MD – March 14, 2007 – Engineering Consulting firm Greenhorne & O'Mara announces a major step in its new leadership transition plan, with the appointment of Frank R. Finch, P.E., as President. Mr. Finch, who joined the firm 5 years ago as Senior Vice President of Water & Environment, will assume the direct oversight of the company's 4 operations groups. He will also have a key leadership role in implementing the firm's corporate strategic plan and growth initiatives. His nomination was approved by G&O's Board of Directors on March 14, 2007. John J. Healey, Ph.D., P.E., who has served as G&O's CEO, President, and Chairman of the Board for the past 7 years, will remain active full-time as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Finch has more than 30 years of broad-based experience in the engineering and construction industry, serving in significant positions as a senior officer with the U.S. military, and in top-level positions in the private and public sectors. He held numerous senior level assignments in the military including the Director of U.S. Army Environmental Programs, and District Engineer for the Baltimore and Chicago Districts. After his Army career, Mr. Finch served in executive positions for several private sector firms and as Executive Director of the South Florida Water Management District.

Mr. Finch holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, a Masters of Engineering in Civil Engineering and a Masters of Science in Management Science from University of California at Berkeley, California. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in California and Virginia and an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the National Society of Professional Engineers, and is a Fellow of the Society of American Military Engineers.
