GREENBELT, MD – August 23, 2005 – Greenhorne & O'Mara, Inc. (G&O), engineering consulting firm, announces the appointment of Neal Brockmeier, P.E., as Department Head for the Civil Development/Engineering Group in G&O's Jacksonville, Florida office. Mr. Brockmeier will be responsible for plan development and civil engineering project management in commercial, residential, municipal, and roadway projects in Northern Florida.

"Neal's more than 13 years experience in Northern Florida is a great advantage to our team," stated Joseph Skinner, Regional Vice President. "His various roles with the St. John's River Water Management District, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, and the Florida Department of Transportation add a broad understanding and expertise to this position."

Mr. Brockmeier is a graduate of Florida State University with a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, and is a registered Professional Engineer in Florida. He is affiliated with Florida Engineering Society and the National Society of Professional Engineers.
