GREENBELT, MD – August 9, 2005 – Greenhorne & O'Mara, Inc. (G&O), engineering consulting firm, announces the appointment of Christopher P. Boruch as Project Director, Water & Environment Services (W&E) Group, one of G&O's largest markets. Currently, he is responsible for managing G&O's general engineering contract with the South Florida Water Management District and the company's engineering efforts in support of the Seminole Tribe of Florida, Inc. Mr. Boruch is based at the G&O branch office in Jacksonville, Florida.

"His experience includes the Pentagon Renovation and the Everglades Restoration programs as well as major programs for the City of Jacksonville. A U. S. Army Corps of Engineers officer with 25 years of service prior to his retirement, Mr. Boruch's tours of duty included the Far East, Baltimore and Jacksonville Engineer Districts, and a tour as the Deputy Chief of the Environmental Restoration Division, Headquarters, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Washington, DC. Mr. Boruch holds a B.A. degree from St. John University in Environmental Studies and a M.P.A. from Golden Gate University in Public Administration. He has also earned several diplomas from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, and the U.S. Army Engineer School. He is affiliated with the Society of American Military Engineers and the Project Management Institute.
