GREENBELT, MD – July 12, 2005 – In response to the increasing federal government need for security and facilities improvements, Greenhorne & O'Mara, Inc. (G&O), engineering consulting firm, has expanded its federal services program. The Raleigh, North Carolina branch office of G&O announces the promotion of Lawrence J. Longo, P.E., to the position of Division Manager, Federal Programs and the addition of Janette A. Tudor, P.E., Senior Project Manager for Federal Projects. Mr. Longo and Ms. Tudor have primary responsibility for the federal program initiative.

"Larry is well-known in the civil engineering and construction arena, and his knowledge and expertise make him a great choice for senior manager for the Public Infrastructure component of G&O's growing Federal Program."

Mr. Longo is a graduate of New Jersey Institute of Technology with a M.S. degree in Civil Engineering, and earned a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Newark College of Engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer in five states, and a registered Professional Planner in New Jersey. He is affiliated with the Society of American Military Engineers and the American Council of Engineering Companies of North Carolina.

Ms. Tudor has worked extensively on a wide variety of projects for federal, state, and county agencies and private-sector clients during her 17-year professional career. As a Senior Project Manager, Ms. Tudor is involved in project planning, full-service architectural/engineering design, cost estimating, and traffic planning.

A graduate of the North Carolina State University with a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Ms. Tudor is a registered Professional Engineer in three states. She serves on the board of the Society of American Military Engineers, Bragg/Pope/Fayetteville Post and is president, North Carolina Chapter of the Women's Transportation Seminar, and a committee member for the American Council of Engineering Companies.
