GREENBELT, MD – July 12, 2005 – Greenhorne & O'Mara, Inc. (G&O), engineering consulting firm, welcomes Scott W. Brookhart, P.E, CFM as Senior Project Manager and Joel Smith, P.E. as Senior Project Engineer; and appoints Donald E. Gibbs, P.E. to the position of Senior Project Manager, and Robert L. Downs, P.E. as Senior Project Engineer. In an effort to respond to the increasing demands in North Carolina's public and private sectors for civil engineering, the Raleigh branch office has expanded its operations and professional staff in that service area.

Mr. Brookhart is a registered Professional Engineer in five states and a Certified Floodplain Manager in North Carolina. Messrs. Gibbs and Smith are registered Professional Engineers in multiple states, and Mr. Downs is a registered Professional Engineer in North Carolina.
