Water & Environment
Biological SurveysG&O ecologists, biologists, and environmental scientists offer wide-ranging experience in biological and natural resource surveys. Surveys are often needed in order to determine the presence, abundance, and quality of biological resources within a project area including wildlife, fish, and plant species. The collection of accurate biological information is an important part in making many project decisions. G&O will collect and analyze biological resource data and use it to assist our clients in the preparation of environmental documentation, making recommendations for avoidance and minimization of impacts, conducting permitting and agency coordination, and designing and monitoring mitigation for unavoidable impacts. Services include:
- Rare, Threatened, and Endangered Species Surveys
- Biological Assessment
- Biological and Physical Stream Surveys and Assessments
- Benthic Macroinvertebrate Sampling
- Fish Passage Design
- Habitat Evaluations
- Bald Eagle Assessments
