Greenhorne & O'Mara, Inc. is recruiting part-time employees to serve our Country's needs in times of natural disasters. The employee will serve on an on-call basis on one of our FEMA contracts, providing support to FEMA under the Public Assistance (PA) Program. Under the PA program, FEMA provides supplement assistance to State and local governments for the response to, and recovery from, a major disaster or emergency. Typically, our personnel assist FEMA on site during disaster response or recovery operations. The assignment is usually for 60-90 days and the employee has to be physically located near the disaster area during this period.

The ideal candidate must have the following qualifications:

• Be able to deploy to the field within 48 hours of notification. It is not uncommon to deploy over the weekend or during holidays
• U.S. Citizenship
• Ability to satisfactorily pass an FBI security background check
• Licensed driver and able to rent a car
• Financially able to support themselves while awaiting expense report reimbursements
• Ability to efficiently use Microsoft Word, Excel, and features of E-mail
• Self starters, team players, professionals, flexible, and even-tempered
• Detail oriented, able to organize thoughts and prepare reports
