Peter brings over 35 years of experience to his role as a principal mechanical engineer in our Energy and Resources team. His career has included both engineering and project management in the manufacturing, resource, and energy sectors—with expertise in general pumping, piping, and slurry transport.
Over the last thirteen years, Peter has specialised in the integration of infrastructure in brownfield operations. Currently, he’s managing a portfolio of projects related to coal fired power stations. His work relates to the continuity of operations, while preparing for closure and rehabilitation—important work for both the local environment and the smooth transition to renewables.
Passionate about supporting the next generation of engineers, Peter regularly mentors young engineers and teaches project management courses at technical and further education (TAFE) institutions. And as an active member of Engineers Australia, he recently completed a five-year term as a Mechanical College Board Member.
When Peter isn’t at work or teaching, he enjoys playing and watching sports, walking, and travelling. He’s also a keen reader and writer.
